Open Question: Any criticism for poem I just wrote?
The first rhyming poem I've written in some time. Should be read alongside, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crPqaCgeGLA&feature=related as it was inspired and meant to go along with it. Scaling; above the world that seems, but waking, as though from a dream; what lies up the winding stair, at the top of that celestial height? -- but a harp's twining chord, wild and rare, melding into the fragrance of the night -- A chain of minutes and hours and years, laughter and love and toil and tears -- thusly our days all slowly ebb away, fading into a hidden, second life of grey -- as a candle, which once burned so bright; color extinguished forever to the sight.
